individuals.

Donations and Contributions
Installation of Donation-type Vending Machines
To provide employees with an opportunity to easily participate in social contribution activities, the Company has installed a donation-type vending machine at the head office with the cooperation of Coca-Cola. When employees purchase beverages from Coca-Cola’s vending machine, a portion of the sales proceeds is donated through Coca-Cola to the Japanese Red Cross Society as activity funding. This initiative has been well-received by employees as a small step toward supporting the SDGs.

Educational Outreach Program (Visiting Lecture)
In recent years, many companies have partnered with schools to conduct educational outreach programs aimed at sparking children’s interest in new technologies and creating learning opportunities beyond the standard curriculum. The Takachiho Koheki Group recently held its first outreach program on RFID after receiving a request for a guest lecture from Yotsuya Elementary School as part of the National Elementary School Social Studies Research Council’s conference.
The lesson, taught by an employee from Mighty Cube Co., Ltd., a company in our Group that develops and sells RFID-related products and security equipment, was delivered to 14 fifth-grade students at Yotsuya Elementary School.
During the lecture titled “What is RFID?”, an employee from the development department of Mighty Cube gave a presentation that initially explained the RFID system, covering RFID tags, readers, the system’s features and benefits, and real-world applications.
Afterwards, students participated in hands-on demonstrations. They observed how handheld readers could detect RFID-tagged boxes inside closed plastic containers and had the chance to use the handheld readers themselves to scan the products.
This program provided an excellent opportunity for children, who will shape our future, to learn about the Takachiho Group’s technology engagingly. It also encouraged them to consider how this technology could contribute to solving societal challenges such as labor shortages, global warming, and carbon reduction.
Moving forward, the Takachiho Koheki Group will continue striving to contribute to our local communities through similar initiatives.
